    I have a pair of those tucked away in the collection, I gave a $10 bill for mine, couple years ago I saw a pair go for $1600 on ebay.

    The way the vanes curve out at the front is kind of cool looking, but do they sound much different than the garden variety 811s?

    Me neither ! I mean they are old and original 811's,and collectible, but wouldn't pay those prices.
